FYI is constantly pursuing and offering affordable ways to better serve the families that are being sent to us for help, so this week’s comprehensive car seat safety training is a logical next step for our dedicated staff. So is the finale of this week, which enables us to immediately serve our community in an ultra-critical area: the safety of its children as vehicle passengers.
All six of our Parenting Network staff will be taking intensive, all-encompassing car seat safety training from a combined team from Safe Kids and Dayton Childrens Hospital this Tuesday through Friday, June 23-26 at FYI’s home office. After completing the training, every Parenting Network employee will be a nationally certified child passenger safety technician. This will allow them to conduct child car seat safety checks and offer hands-on assistance in the proper use of all kids restraint systems and seat belts.
They will immediately put that training to use on Friday, June 26, from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. as FYI will open our doors at our home office, 468 N. Dayton-Lakeview Rd., New Carlisle, to offer free walk-up child car seat safety checks and one-on-one safety training.
No advance registration is required. So mark your calendars now … peace of mind about the vehicle safety of your children will be your reward.
