Support is Closer Than You Think

No matter where you are in Ohio, help is closer than you may think. If you or someone you know is experiencing domestic violence, organizations across the state are working to provide safety and resources. Though it may feel overwhelming to reach out, survivors do not have to navigate these challenges alone.
From emergency shelters and counseling to safety planning and advocacy, Ohio organizations are making a difference in communities throughout the state. In Dayton, Artemis Center provides support for individuals affected by domestic violence. In Northwest Ohio, the YWCA connects survivors with resources and services. In Xenia and the surrounding region, Violence Free Futures offers assistance to individuals seeking safety and a path toward healing.
Beyond direct services, advocates throughout Ohio are working to create lasting change. In Cleveland, domestic violence survivor Nia Holland is pushing for policy changes to improve support for survivors, as reported by Cleveland 19 News. Her advocacy highlights the importance of improving access to protection and essential services.
