Dave’s B.A. in History serves a foundation for nearly three decades in the Air Force Reserve serving tours from Korea to Germany, as well as his work in restaurants, data analysis, and administrative support. However, service to individuals and the community is the driving principle which brought him to FYI. He is also a part-time religious education teacher and runs a small business.
A graduate of Tecumseh High school, Nancy has lived in the New Carlisle/Springfield area her entire life. Nancy works for WesBanco Bank Inc., managing the Enon branch. Nancy has also served as secretary for Western Clark County Business Coalition.
Larry graduated from Purdue University with a B.S. in Aeronautical Engineering and later from California Institute of Technology with a M.S. in Aeronautical Engineering. He had an extensive 26-year career in the U.S. Air Force. After retiring from the U.S. Air Force, Larry devoted 24 years to the management of small businesses supporting the acquisition community at Wright Patterson AFB. He retired from that role in 2013 as Sr. Vice President; Dayton Division for PESystems, Inc. As a member of the FYI board, Larry hopes to offer his extensive managerial experience to further the organization’s efforts as FYI Board Treasurer.
Max is a graduate of the University of Oklahoma and holds a B.S. in Aero-Engineering. He joined the U.S. Air Force and served at Wright Patterson for 20 years. Having been trained as a Program Manager during his time in the service, Max later worked for 15 years as a PM/Programmer for Robbiins-Gioia. Max has applied his experiences to his role as FYI Board Secretary.
Herman graduated from Xavier University with a B.S. degree in Business Administration. Retired from the MITRE Corporation (45+ years) as a Sr. Information Systems Engineer, Herman is experienced in the management and engineering of large AF and DoD computer systems, strategic planning, risk mitigation, and program execution. He applies these skills in his role as chair of the FYI board. He is currently an active member, Trustee, of the Fairborn Knights of Columbus Council 3724. He enjoys gardening, mentoring, and helping others help themselves.
Ryan T. Wallace
Ryan is an administrative law attorney by day, community servant by night. He currently serves as the vice president of the Friends of New Carlisle Public Library, is an OHSAA basketball official, serves as a voluntary arbitrator and is an active member of the Gathering of Miami Valley men's group. His legal background, experience in team building, relationship building, and ability to set and achieve goals will help our community and organization achieve big things.
