Lori Pierce

Board Chair

Lori has a B.S. in Management from Midwestern State University (Wichita Falls, TX) and a Master’s in Business Administration from Webster University (St. Louis, MO).  Lori decided to join the board in 2010 after previously working for FYI in an administrative position and serves currently as Board Chair at FYI. She and her husband have been married for more than 28 years and have two college-aged children. Lori says, “We are members of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in New Carlisle, OH. I've had a passion for volunteering in different capacities most of my adult life.”

Herman Karhoff

Past Board Chair

Herman graduated from Xavier University with a B.S. degree in Business Administration. He has been blessed with more than 49+ years of marriage to his wife, is the proud father of four children, and enjoys spending time with his 11 grandchildren. Retired from the MITRE Corporation (45+ years) as a Sr. Information Systems Engineer, Herman is experienced in the management and engineering of large AF and DoD computer systems, strategic planning, risk mitigation, and program execution. He applies these skills in his role as chair of the FYI board. He is currently an active member, Trustee, of the Fairborn Knights of Columbus Council 3724. He enjoys gardening, mentoring, and helping others help themselves.

Larry Bogemann

Board Treasurer

Larry graduated from Purdue University with a B.S. in Aeronautical Engineering and later from California Institute of Technology with a M.S. in Aeronautical Engineering. He had an extensive 26-year career in the U.S. Air Force. After retiring from the U.S. Air Force, Larry devoted 24 years to the management of small businesses supporting the acquisition community at Wright Patterson AFB.  He retired from that role in 2013 as Sr. Vice President; Dayton Division for PESystems, Inc. As a member of the FYI board, Larry hopes to offer his extensive managerial experience to further the organization’s efforts as FYI Board Treasurer.

Max Roadruck

Board Secretary

Max is a graduate of the University of Oklahoma and holds a B.S. in Aero-Engineering. He joined the U.S. Air Force and served at Wright Patterson for 20 years. Having been trained as a Program Manager during his time in the service, Max later worked for 15 years as a PM/Programmer for Robbiins-Gioia. Max has applied his experiences to his role as FYI Board Secretary. 

Nancy Masters

Board Member

A graduate of Tecumseh High school, Nancy has lived in the New Carlisle/Springfield area her entire life. She is the proud mother of four children and beloved “Nana” to three grandchildren.  Nancy works for WesBanco Bank Inc., managing the Enon branch. Nancy has also served as secretary for Western Clark County Business Coalition. 

Pat McFarland

Board Member

Pat is the proud mother of two amazing adults. Pat retired in 2010 after 40+ years in the field of cardiology. She serves on the board of FYI because she enjoys helping people help themselves and believes in its mission to empower families and provide them hope.

Barb Roadruck

Board Member

Barb and Max Roadruck have celebrated more than 45 years of marriage and are the proud parents of two sons. Barb possesses a special heart for children and education and has served faithfully as a member of the Mary, Help of Christians Church. She has offered countless hours of service as the Children's and Adult Sunday School Director and also volunteers to read to children with disabilities.

Dianne Storer

Board Member

Dianne has celebrated 45 years of marriage with her husband and is the proud mother of two children, and grandmother to seven grandchildren. Now enjoying retirement, Dianne brings 38 years of professional career experience to our board, having served in the fields of administration, management, and human resources. Dianne enjoys dancing and traveling, but most of all, helping others. Dianne volunteers for many other organizations and is excited about the opportunity to serve on the board and make a difference through FYI.
