Pat Banaszak

Co-Executive Director

Pat is the co-founder of FYI, along with the late Carol Tipton. Now she serves as Co-Executive Director of the quickly expanding organization. Pat works tirelessly to engage, educate, equip and empower youth and families to become adults of character who are equipped with the tools to reach their long-term goals. Since its beginnings in 1978, FYI has expanded to four major programs and numerous other projects throughout the communities it serves. Pat and her husband, Dave, are active pro-life supporters who enjoy traveling to visit their four children, while staying active in their church and community. pat@fyiohio.org

Nikki Stefanow

Co-Executive Director

Nikki started with FYI in 2008 as a volunteer mentor with the Parenting Network.  She served as the Parenting Network Director over all 3 networks for seven years and now serves as the Co-Executive Director, helping oversee FYI's multiple programs. She is passionate about encouraging families and helping them establish a solid foundation. She believes that instilling hope into others lives will change their future, and looks forward to watching dreams become reality for those she serves. nikki@fyiohio.org    

Sara Woodin

Fiscal Director

Sara holds an Associate's Degree in Accounting from Sinclair Community College. As fiscal director, she oversees all financial aspects at FYI, including: monitoring government and foundation grants and charitable contributions. Sara is excited to apply her financial expertise to an organization that shares her passion for helping others. sara@fyiohio.org​

Diana Hobbs

Parenting Network Director

Diana began as a volunteer at the Fairborn Parenting Network in 2015. In March of 2016, she transitioned to Head Coordinator, and is now the Director overseeing all 3 Parenting Network locations. Her unique personal experiences help her to relate to network clients as they discuss the blessings and challenges of being a parent. Diana’s resourcefulness and ability to take on any task have made her an excellent addition to the FYI family. diana@fyiohio.org

Julie Daniel

Head Coordinator, New Carlisle Parenting Network

Julie began volunteering at the New Carlisle Parenting Network to complete her Practicum for Clark State University. In May 2014, she graduated with an Associates Degree in Social Services Technology as a Social Work Assistant. Shortly following, Julie became Head Coordinator of the New Carlisle Parenting Network. Julie enjoys mentoring clients, managing volunteers, and organizing baby donations. julie@fyiohio.org​

Jim Tipton

Gardening For Health Director

Jim joined FYI's community garden during the 2018 growing season, then became Gardening For Health Director in the spring of 2019. Being in charge of plant development at GE Aviation is Jim's full-time job. However, his passion for gardening and for FYI's group of volunteer gardeners has driven him to spearhead the continued growth of the community garden in his spare time. He has been married to his high school sweetheart since 1997 and they have two sons. His late mother, Carol Tipton, was co-founder of our non-profit along with current co-Executive Director Pat Banaszak. Jim@fyiohio.org

Rebecca Swearingen

Director of Real Life...Teen Choices Program

Rebecca has spent the last five years as a substitute teacher at Tecumseh Local Schools. She is working on a bachelor's degree in Human Development and Family Studies soon. Rebecca loves that she is using her knowledge from this degree to further FYI's mission of empowering families and providing hope. The Real Life ... Teen Choices program empowers youth by engaging them in real life conversations regarding the choices they make every day and how those choices impact their future, Rebecca is passionate about the youth and hopes to encourage them to avoid at-risk behaviors for optimal health outcomes. rebecca@fyiohio.org

Julie Driskill

Director of The Mentoring Project

Julie Driskill received her B.A. in Education from Clayton State University in Morrow, GA. She brings her experience as a Christian camp director to her role at FYI. She leads FYI's DEFY Teen Leadership program, a challenging after-school peer-to-peer mentoring program for Tecumseh youth. Julie’s encouraging spirit brightens the FYI office and the classroom. julied@fyiohio.org
